What is METRONOME Training?

Metronome training, in general, is great for developing timing and rhythm consistency — here's a quick rundown of its benefits:

Musicians: Builds internal pulse, tightens ensemble playing, and exposes subtle rushing/dragging tendencies you might not notice otherwise.

Athletes/Movement: Used in sports like swimming, rowing, and running to dial in cadence and movement efficiency.

Rehabilitation: Helps neurological patients (e.g., after stroke) retrain motor coordination and timing.

Cognitive training: Improves attention, focus, and processing speed — some programs use it for kids with ADHD or learning differences.

The core benefit across all uses is that it gives you an objective, unwavering external reference to sync with, which trains your internal clock over time.

Learn More With Founder & Creator Dr. John D. Hatch DC, DACNB, FABBIR

Dr. Hatch is the owner of The Brain Rehab Clinic, a functional neurology center in Provo, UT, and the founder of Cognuro. With extensive training and years of hands-on clinical experience, he is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. In addition to treating patients, he trains and mentors practitioners, helping advance clinical standards in functional neurology.

Cognuro was created out of clinical necessity. As his practice grew, Dr. Hatch recognized that existing tools could not keep pace with the demands of modern neurological care or provide the level of precision he expected.
